Nalini Andrade is an international development practitioner with over twelve years’ experience in community engagement, youth development, women’s empowerment and education As Manager of the International Development Institute at Humber College, Nalini is responsible for developing international collaborations and projects in education, skill training and capacity building. She draws upon her practical knowledge and experience to manage projects across East Africa and Southeast Asia. Nalini obtained her Masters in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics. She also holds a Bachelor in Social Work and a Diploma in Human Rights Law.
Senior Project Officer, International Development Institute
Jennifer is a Project Management and Communication specialist who has been in the field of international and community development for the past 10 years. An alumni from Humber’s International Project Management postgraduate Program, Jennifer pursued work in the areas of communication and fundraising with the African Medical and Research Foundation, Journalist for Human Rights and the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Eager to work internationally, she later moved to Nepal to work in rural economic development for the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation for two years. In 2015, she began working at Humber as the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) manager and is now responsible for the administration and financial management of the Sulawesi Economic Development Strategy Project (SEDS) and other projects and programs at IDI. Jennifer holds a Bachelors of Journalism from Kings University College and a Masters in Local Economic Development from the University of Waterloo.
Finance and Program Officer, International Development Institute
Clarisse Estebar is an alumni of Humber College’s Bachelor of International Development program in the Faculty of Business. She has worked for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry in the administration of the student summer employment opportunities program and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks where she performed project management, training facilitation, and financial management. As Finance and Program Officer of the International Development Institute at Humber College, Clarisse is responsible for supporting the pursuit of international development business development opportunities, project support, and effective financial management of projects and programs at IDI, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently, effectively, and in line with best practices.
