The International Development Week (IDW) is a Canada-wide event, spearheaded by Global Affairs Canada as an opportunity to highlight the work of Canada's development community and the work of Canada in international development. A number of post-secondary education institutions, not-for-profit organizations, and civil society organizations will participate in weeklong activities, taking place all over Canada. Humber College’s International Development Institute (IDI) has organized IDW on campus with the purpose to engage the internal and external community on ID and inform IDI’s future activities.
